Record number of applications to new IFS Individual Research Approach

IFS has received a record number of applications for individual research grants following the recently closed call.... [Click to read more]
In 2012 IFS advertised our first call for the Individual Research Approach of the new 10-year strategy. The Individual Research Approach is similar to the former application and granting process of the previous 5 year programme supporting individual grantees research. However, it differs in a number of ways, including that: the call is open for a time limited period, the research areas are now administered within three broader categories – check the new research areas here, the application form is slightly revised, and the eligibility criteria are revised to take more account of gender issues and to increase the poverty focus.
We would like to thank all those who have contributed to the record crop of applications. We will be working with our new administrative procedures to carefully assess all applications, to provide feedback to applicants and to award the very best proposals with Individual IFS research grants.
