IFS presence at the 22nd IUFoST World Congress of Food Science and Technology.

The International Foundation for Science (IFS) is thrilled to announce its participation in the IUFoST 22nd World Congress of Food Science and Technology. The congress will take place in Rimini, Italy from September 8-12, 2024, under the theme "The Future of Food is Now: Development, Functionality & Sustainability."
Congress Overview
The congress will create a global platform for food scientists, researchers, and industry experts to address the most pressing issues in food science today. With a focus on innovation and sustainability, the congress will cover topics ranging from food development and functionality to the future of sustainable food systems.
Collaborative Effort and Participation
IFS is one of the sponsors of the congress. In addition, IFS is fully sponsoring the participation of 15 IFS grantees coming from Bhutan, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, Togo, Uganda, Vietnam.
For those who are attending the congress, we are pleased to inform that on September 10, IFS will have a specific session entitled: Science beyond Science - Communication with policy makers and stakeholders to catalyse positive changes in society. The case of IFS food science and technology grantees in Low and Low middle income countries.
