The IFS Board of Trustees has announced that the Director, Graham HAYLOR, is to stay on as Director until 2020.

The 45th Board of Trustees meeting in November 2014 decided to give its current director Graham Haylor, a second mandate to lead IFS towards delivering the 2011-2020 Strategy.

The Board Chair, Prof. Olanrewaju Smith, said that the board has a close and fruitful relationship with the director and was well aware of the excellent leadership he has brought to the International Foundation for Science. A review of his performance record revealed an exceptional progress made by IFS under his leadership against the vision he put forward in 2010. The board was therefore delighted to invite Dr Haylor to continue to lead the organisation towards 2020.

Graham Haylor joined IFS in 2010 after executive director roles in fisheries, aquaculture, scientific research and capacity development, with significant leadership experience, including envisioning, and interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary program development.
