Programme format:
The workshop will include an opening keynote, sessions on air, food and water themes, and a cross-cutting policy panel, where IFS will share it's unique perspective, such as capacity development for emerging researchers, relevant to ‘planetary health’ and broader questions of public health policy and sustainability.
In the panel discussion's IFS will also reflect on the relevance and challenges to this new field of 'Planetary health'.
Other Items that will be discussed in the panel include;
- Does planetary health offer a useful framework within your area of expertise?
- How will human health impacts of accelerating environmental change impact our ability to achieve the SDGs?
- What insights can planetary health bring to global health policy and practice in Sweden?
- How do we communicate the urgency to create a new trajectory for human stewardship of Earth’s natural systems to address health threats related to air, food and water? , e.t.c
